    Second week two chairs and a desk not picked up. I have made numerous call to 311 and have even been transferred to public works dispatch. 311 said that public works notified. Called Mayors office, she was unable to reach anyone in public works.

    The trash cans on the east side of Oxford Street between Farmington and Cone were supposed to be picked up on Thursday, 9/17. After two calls to Hartford 311 on Friday and Sunday, here we are Monday afternoon and the cans still haven't been picked up. It would be great if someone would take action before Thursday rolls around again and we the residents have nowhere to put this week's garbage.

    The entire stretch of Jefferson Street, from Washington Street to the traffic light on Hudson Street needs to be painted for safe travel by cars, pedestrians and bicyclists. The turn lanes, center lines and crosswalks are barely visible, and with cars parked on both sides, this stretch of road is an unsafe nightmare.

    Turning from Jefferson on to Hudson, the lanes are gone, and no arrows to show people that there is a left turn only lane. This road is also unsafe in its width and for pedestrians next to a hospital, crossing anywhere on this street is a extremely unsafe.

    MDC storm drains back up in even a light rainstorm. If it rains for more than a couple hours this is what happens. Street and yards completely flood and cause water back up in basement level apartments.
