Description

The easement tree in front of our house is lifting the sidewalk to the point where we currently have a lake on the sidewalk. The water is an inch deep. It's also very dangerous when it freezes. A lot of kids walk to school (we back to Churchill High School), not to mention the dog walkers and everyone else. We put salt and ice melt out repeatedly, but since the water has nowhere to go, it doesn't help at all.
We have also had issues with our drainage and have found tree roots in our sewer line, besides for the fact that it hasn't been trimmed in at least 20 years. Also, the sidewalk was repaired years ago under the sidewalk program. It wasn't cheap and it didn't help our water problem because the tree is still interfering with it. We're just tired of dealing with it.
