I am disappointed that everyone in Sterling heights has to have these barrels. Unfortunately my barrels would sit in the garage in the winter or when weather is bad. And by the way, these barrels do fall down in the streets. See it all the time. As a senior with walking difficulties, I would be resorted to having my son take my trash to his city. In the winter, the barrels would be in the garage. My car is on driveway and there is not enough room. In the winter, I usually only have half my driveway cleared on snow due to the cost. Can't get in the garage in winter. I feel the city should have sent out requests for people to decline or accept. Since we in the city have to do what the city council has decided, maybe you should tell the other states to do the same. Since Michigan accepts other states trash as well as Canada's. Becoming more and more disappointed with what is happening in the city and our government approving it. The only recourse we have is our vote.
