Description

Our trash, once again goes uncollected. I literally stood here and watched the trash be collected from two houses one from the top of the street and another at the end of the street and that was it - what exactly am I paying taxes for? Then the complaint would be that front yards are dirty, really?

Thanks for the photo. Anytime recycling is contaminated by material which we can't recycle, our crew is unable to empty the toter. Photo shows there is a plastic bag inside your recycling (blue) toter. Unfortunately crew can't empty it until plastic or any other contaminating material is removed. Give us a call at 203-946-7700 and we can review what is acceptable/unacceptable for recycling. We can also mail information to you as well. Thanks.

Okay, I'm not sure what happened or why, should that be something for the landlords to sort out? Seems to happen alot on Harding. Thank you for your prompt response.

Check to make sure you have both a brown toter(used for Trash only) and a blue toter(used for recycling only) Photo is of the blue recycling toter. If not, ask the landlord to give us a call at 203-946-7700.

I appreciate your prompt response, we have both, and I really am not sure why that stuff is in the blue bin, is there any way that can be removed/picked up? I think it was done by another tenant in error, but not sure.

Glad to hear you have both toters and thus you can use the brown toter for trash and blue for recycling only. We will take care of emptying the toter this one time if you leave it out by curb. We can send recycling information if you provide the correct address on Harding Place and/or will gladly deliver to your building/landlord if you add number on Harding Place. Thanks.
