they need to prove ownership or get towed

I wonder if even with ownership if they are allowed to be sitting right in front of a house in Albany. There must be something somewhere that would forbid it, even if it is for unsightly conditions. Clearly, there is not place to use these legally so they need not be stored on a sidewalk.

It is not legal to park vehicles, motorcycles, ATVs, etc. on the sidewalk regardless of building ownership. So much of this issue is in plain site and nothing is done. APD doesn't even have to give chase, since that's the alleged big concern. The vehicles are just sitting there illegally for over a year. Ridiculous. Albany Admin 3, please post a follow up including how this was addressed.
