Description
Damaged and raised slabs pose a definite trip hazard to occupants and guests and the many people who use this sidewalk. I reported this issue in 2011 when I purchased the property which is used as a rental and was told it was placed on the repair list. Its been 10 years now and id like an update and approximate date as to when it will be replaced. I feel it is a moderate liability to the town should someone trip and get injured.

Thank you for reporting the site to the Town. We will be dispatching our inspector to the site to evaluate the sidewalk. Please allow us up to two weeks to conduct the inspection.
We are waiting for funding from the Legislative Council to conduct more sidewalk repairs.

Thank you Engineering for your fast response. Please make note that i was advised that the sidewalk was inspected 10 years ago and was made aware that there was a 10 year backlog and received this in a letter. I understand the process with the LC and the budget and everything that goes along with it. But i was told the same thing 10 years ago lol.
In any case, I’ll wait to hear/see the report when it is available
