Please enforce the no smoking ban in Washington park. Many people are okay with cannabis being legalized but more thought should have gone into legalizing it in a smoking form particularly in public places. Not only is it triggering for people in drug recovery but in a community where buildings and people are on top of each other, the smoke gets in people's homes and cars and is a problem for them, their children and pets. A person can no longer walk down the street or spend time with their family in Washington Park, without being forced to breathe marijuana smoke and smoking is still not good for lungs whether cigarettes or marijuana. Please enforce the laws regarding where public consumption is not allowed and reconsider the rights of marijuana users being prioritized over non-users when it comes to public consumption of smokable cannabis.

  • 460 Madison Ave Albany, New York, 12208 - Park South
Why is a 'gift store" approved to be open until 3:00 a.m. let alone without having notified people living in proximity, in advance, so they could provide input? This is supposed to be part of the process and residents are fed up with the unilateral decisions that continue to impact people's quality of life and property values. There is more going on here than a gift store. People don't line up to get a pink teddy bear and knock off purse at 2:00 a.m., nor is a normal gift store open until 3:00 a.m with a note next to the phone number saying they answer within 15 minutes. The people who run this operation, play loud music with their door open, sit right outside the door while working and smoke weed so often the surrounding homes and businesses wreak of it. Not everyone wants that in their private or business spaces. They also can't congregate out on the sidewalk as they are right now disturbing everyone who lives here. Madison is also well traveled by children going to and from the middle school and Elementary school on Delaware ave. The area is already bowling with increasing crime and violence and to bring in more visitors than just those who want to get drunk, high, and behave badly.

Broadway & Madison Ave Albany, NY, 12202, USA - Albany
There is a big pothole at this intersection where you can get on and off 787. This is where Broadway and Madison intersect. People have to swerve so far around the pothole to avoid it that the intersection traffic flow gets disturbed. Is there any way this could get patched until the weather warms up and it can get replaced?

130-182 Water St Albany, NY, 12207, USA - Albany
There are very deep potholes on this road coming off of 787. It would be dangerous to swerve to avoid them all but I am worried I am going to damage my tires every time I am force to drive over one. One of the potholes has rebar in it which doesn’t seem safe to drive over. Can these holes be patched until the weather warms up and the road can be replaced?

Seems like Lionheart thinks this lot belongs to them It belongs to the city, the city takes care of it, and the City of Albany rents the lot to others for events Lionhart has put permanent fire pits, artificial turf, iron barricades of fencing to stop anyone to use huge parts of the land and won't let renters of the lot use that area. This does not seem to adhere with agreements of renting the lot, leaving the rental property not be what's agreed upon.
Owner of Lionheart says no one owns the lot and he can use it without anyone's permission This has caused a lot of problems for renters of the park for markets, festivals etc. Can this situation be clarified so Lionheart stays within his own property ?....
