After purchasing this single-family residence last year, Casasmiranda LLC has subdivided the residence into a multi-family, non- owner occupied, unit. Both units, with their separate entrances, are being rented on Airbnb. This has been done through the unpermitted addition of a basement bathroom, basement kitchen, fence, patio, etc.

The properties can be found in Airbnb as:
-Crown Jewell - A Cut Above the Rest
    - Hidden Hexi - Lower Level Unit

Kids that have been fighting at the park nightly come to Boswell Park and destroy the equipment. They've burned a hole in some and hit the slides with objects until they've caved in. Park police needs to be spending far more time here in the evenings.

  • 1523 Sw Washburn Ave Topeka, KS, 66604, USA - City of Topeka Council District 6
This is not right that the neighborhood has to wait so long for a REPEAT slumlord offender to clean up his property, he comes over and looks at it and does nothing, this is an ongoing problem and he should have no warnings, the city should just clean it up and fine him, no more notices and long waits. Again today the refuse didn't pick up much of anything and the rest of it spills out into a public alley. This nuisance property should be padlocked.
  • 1304 Sw Boswell Ave Topeka, Kansas, 66604 - City of Topeka Council District 6
Huge RV trailer that has been hooked up to park utilities and taking up 3-4 parking spaces on the street. It also blocks the view of drivers. The trailer has been there for a week now. Please fix it.

  • 1304 Sw Boswell Ave Topeka, Kansas, 66604 - City of Topeka Council District 6
The large RV is hooked up to the park utilities. The trailers in the street is really not fair to the rest of the neighborhood. They have been there continuously for over a year. Please remedy this
  • 1304 Sw Boswell Ave Topeka, Kansas, 66604 - City of Topeka Council District 6
Residents of this house have had 3 large trailers parked continuously on the street, sometimes hooking them up to the utilities in the park and living out of them.

This RV has been parked on Boswell st since Thurs night. I know you cannot park an RV this size on a city street. They just keep moving it to either side of the street. So now, along with 2 trailers and numerous vehicles to haul them, they are taking up both sides of nearly half the city block! It blocks visibility for those exiting the church parking lot on the East and also for those trying to cross Boswell from either direction on 13th street. Residents were told it would be monitored after being cited all last summer, but it never was.
