  • Anzac Parade Moore Park NSW 2021, Australia - Sydney - East

Cyclists riding northbound towards the city on the Anzac Parade bike path, reach the northern end of the path here at the intersection of Moore Park Rd and Anzac Pde.

At this point they are provided with NO lawful options to proceed.

This is an appalling infrastructure fail and it is used by hundreds of riders daily.

  • 52 O'Connell Street Parramatta NSW 2150, Australia - Parramatta - Inner
The SUP curved bridge with a hardwood timber deck and a downhill approach is slippery when wet, with restricted visibility due to trees. One accident has been reported in this location due to the slippery surface in wet weather. Suggest that the surface be modified to make it non- slippery ideally using a grit finish (as has been done recently on the PVC). If not add "slippery when wet signs" and trim vegetation to providie visibility. Risk of accident / incident high in wet weather. Potential consequnce moderate (abrasions to concussion). Costs moderate.
  • Erskine Park Link Road Sydney NSW, Australia - Blacktown - South-West
The end of the shared path on Erskine Park Link Rd comes abruptly and forces cyclists who want to link with theM7 pathway onto a busy road where they are at risk of being run over by the numerous trucks that use this road. It would be a good idea to complete the pathway up to Wallgrove rd or to improve the shoulders(on both sides) to allow cyclists to ride it for a minimized risk. The current shoulder is so bad, it cannot be used by a bicycle.
  • Inner City Bypass Herston QLD 4006, Australia - Herston
This intersection is poor design for any bike path, but absolutely unacceptable on the main bikeway from the north to the CBD. The sightlines are bad, the awful railings force turning cyclists to ride on the wrong side of the path. Even if this remains for a while, the designers should try it on a bicycle themselves, so they don't make the same mistake again. At least they've put some sort of non-slip paint on the timber boardwalk.
  • Brisbane Qld 4000 Australia - City - Remainder
The cars are all turning left, but there is no provision for bicycles going straight. Most cyclists coming out of Roma St Parklands will want to continue down Albert St toward King George Square. There should be a bike lane marked on the right-hand side of the lane, showing that bicycles will be going straight. Wouldn't hurt if there were some markings for bicycles along Albert between Turbot and Ann as well.
