  • 701 S. Boylan Avenue Raleigh, North Carolina - Central
Please ask City of Raleigh Inspections Dept. to investigate whether someone is living at 701 S. Boylan Avenue without proper permits. The house has no electricity but a car is parked in the front yard many mornings and a dog continues to be chained to the front porch during the day. Recently the dog was alone all day and began barking non-stop in the evening presumably because it didn't have food or water. Thank you.

There are tree stumps and a basketball goal in the middle of the cul-de-sac. Kids are using the stumps to sit on and watch them play ball.
  • Wade Avenue & U.S. 70 & U.S. 401 Raleigh, NC 27603, USA - Mordecai
After observing traffic for years, it'd be helpful if the yield sign included another for 'no merge lane.' See too many people who expect a merge lane and brake hard last minute.
  • 4700 New Bern Avenue Raleigh, NC - Raleigh Council District C
Green electrical box out front of River Oaks Middle School has been knocked over & wires/metal is exposed. Needs to be repaired! Can't believe no one has called!
  • 2000 New Hope Church Road Raleigh, North Carolina - Falls Of Neuse
I'm posting in this category because no others are appropriate. at the intersection of St. Albans and New hope Church if you are driving towards Wake Forest Rd. there is no legal way to make a left turn onto St. Albans. There is a median that needs to be removed and replaced with a left turn lane. People are forced to either make a U- turn or cut through a business parking lot in order to get onto St. Albans. I can see no logic behind this median being there. Also, I do not want to hear that this is because too many cars would be turning left and traffic might back up onto the railroad tracks. That's baloney. This needs to be corrected immediately.
  • 201-299 East North Street Raleigh, North Carolina - North Central

I reported this utility pole to Duke Energy Progress yesterday morning when I saw that it was leaning towards the street. This morning I drove by it again and is is leaning even further into the street. Yesterday it was not fully touching the nearby No Parking sign but today it is.

This pole has a transformer on it but no guy wire. It is slowly pushing itself out of its hole. When it finally goes over it will take out the tree next to it and probably a few cars, too.

I post this not because I expect CoR to fix it but for documentation purposes. Perhaps the city can convince DEP to do something about it as well.

  • 401 E Martin St Raleigh, North Carolina - Central
I am not sure if this is the right category. Middle school children have to cross a busy intersection to get to Moore Square Middle. There is no crosswalk or stop sign.
  • Corner Of Caswell St And Harvey St Raleigh, North Carolina - Five Points
water line in street may be broken. water bubbling and running from crack in street
  • 211 Cox Ave Raleigh, North Carolina - Hillsborough
There is a wire or something tied around the power lines that cross over the street here. This wire is tying the lines together but the end of it is hanging down. This looks like a very poor job of trying to get the bottom line off the ground a little more. Is the wire hanging down dangerous? It appears to me that it is possible that it is hot (electrified) since it is touching several lines. It is hanging down far enough where tall vehicles could possibly touch it.
