Description
I and many other residents use Alabama Rd Connector in Roswell. There have been many sitings of deer crossing this road, as me and my family of 5 travels on this road at least 3 times a day. On July 1, 2014 at 12:00 noon one of these deer ran into the side of my car damaging my drivers side fender & door, luckily it was the SIDE of my door and not the front. I was not injured but could have been and possibly fatally!! The deer was most likely fatally injured as it was a horrific scene that he or she could not use its back legs to get off the road!! Terrible!!! Since then I could not believe that there are NO DEER X-ING signs on this road!!!! PLEASE PLEASE do whatever you can to get one installed on this road!! I am not only looking out for the deer but for the vast population that are putting themselves in danger everyday without even knowing that this can happen. My sincerest thanks is greatly appreciated in this matter! Denise Jarque

Our Public Works Department has been advised of your concern.
Roughly half of the length of Old Alabama Road Connector is within the City of Alpharetta; the other southern half being in Roswell. Can you describe where along the road you are most frequently seeing deer? This will help us in sign placement and the possible need to coordinate with our neighboring city.
