The City of Alpharetta uses a grading system to evaluate roads throughout the community and to create a prioritized list of roads to be resurfaced. Those roads that receive the lowest grades are the ones in most need of attention. Each year the City allocates budget dollars towards road resurfacing, and we resurface as many of the lowest rated roads that can be done with the available dollars.

Around September of 2013 we resurfaced and striped the section of Rucker from Wills Road to Harris Road.

It is also important to note that the section of Rucker between Houze and Barrow Downs is under the jurisdiction of the City of Roswell and cannot be addressed using Alpharetta tax dollars.
