We will generally not proactively seek to move properly parked vehicles unless they are causing a problem, are abandoned or unlicensed. Does this one fall into any of those categories?
I'm hoping that parking for-sale vehicles for the sole reason of putting them out in high-traffic areas--and this being a residential neighborhood--doesn't prompt others to start doing it.
I've seen that happen many times in various areas.
I can certainly understand your concern. However, right now if the vehicle is properly parked and does not remain in one place more than 7 days, whether it's for sale or not, we have nothing to enforce. This has not been a problem so far city-wide, but if it does become a problem it is always possible for the City Council to more tightly regulate this. And if the car is left more than 7 days we can always have a community policing officer contact the owner and ask them to move it. Technically a car can be considered abandoned if it is parked more than 7 days in one location without moving.
