The location has been made safe by the City's electrician. There are new units on order but there is a 24-28 week lead time for delivery.

The area is on the regular beat for the police department and the whole area is currently being re-designed once concepts designs are completed there will be another community meeting scheduled before the project proceeds to complete design and bid.

Longwharf park is cleaned daily but as mentioned the behaviors are something that are difficult to manage. We have added cameras to help identify those who are vandalizing and illegally dumping in the area.

The New Haven Police Department have definitely stepped up their patrols, especially on the weekends. There has also been a lot of improvements made at Food Truck Paradise. The grass has been cut on a regular basis. Graffiti has been removed. Trash is removed every day. Also Parking Enforcement added Long Wharf to thier patrols on the weekend.
