I went to eat by the Pit today and there is strange smell in the block and there is a mysterious substance running off from behind there .I think it is the alleyway behind the Pit where they are washing or dumping something. It smells like sewage and grease and chlorine. I walked around the block and it looks like it has run all the way along Commerce Place back to Martin St and also through a parking lot on Harrington St and into the street there too. The smell is disgusting and put me off my food. I feel bad for people who have to sit outside and eat. Could potentially be a health hazard if there are chemicals in there.
