Last Tuesday, Aug. 25th, there was a couple of men with a tractor that chopped the tree down for the most part, and then they used the scoop to push all the branches into the storm drainage/ditch next to it. I just took this picture this morning, and they have not bothered to come back and finish the job. I'm worried they're planning on leaving it like that. Now, not only is the dead tree still a fire hazard, it is now also clogging up the storm drainage for this area.

Thursday morning, both Fire and Maintenance Services personnel visited the location identified in the complaint and discovered that the property in question is being utilized as a nursery for a local landscape company.The representative advised that the dead/felled material and vegetation will be removed and most likely “chipped and spread” along the ground within a week. When this has been completed either Fire or Maintenance Services personnel will inspect the site to ensure the hazard(s) has been mitigated to the City’s satisfaction.
