Description
It looks like one of the city employees saw it fit to tag up the sidewalk with their notes instead of a piece of paper or maybe a digital database. This is a blight on the neighborhood that could easily be confused with delinquent graffiti.

Why is it that these USA markings are only in front of this property and none others along the street?
Clearly these are unsightly and would not be found on all the homes in Vallejo, so why is it acceptable to have these markings tagging up the sidewalk in this location if no related work is being done?

And once that work is done, these graffiti tags will be removed?
At the very least, we need to get a situation report on when/if this work is expected to be completed as these tags have been here for over a year now.

That's helpful, but maybe instead of taking up two squares of sidewalk with writing these underground utility lines could be marked with a simple strip at the curb and color coded as appropriate; orange, white, green. I've seen official markings in other parts of the city that are done this way.
I vote for that solution, as these "official writings" are unsightly and a blight on the neighborhood.

Fair enough. I guess we just have to focus on getting the work done that is requiring those markings.
The only work I can see that needs to be done is the street damage in front of those markings. Once that section of the street is resurfaced, will those markings still need to be there?
