Description
The best lack all conviction while the worst are full of passionate intensity
Again, with nice weather we endure the illegally loud selfish show-offs on motorcycles, doing wheelies right down town on State Street, Chapel, Elm.
There is now law in this city.

1. the only viable solution to dirbikes/ATVs in New Haven is confiscation.
2. connecticut state legislature has passed legislation specific to this concern (cities/municipalities can demand upwards of $1000 to release confiscated dirtbikes/ATVs) http://www.nhregister.com/article/NH/20130531/NEWS/305319937
.
3. police can only confiscate what they can find.
4. they usually find only what residents report to them.
5. in neighborhoods where most dirtbikes come from, residents are less likely to report.
6. drone surveillance allows for effective location of dirtbikes/atvs, and can be done by private citizens (if you go online, it only cost about $40 per day to rent at high end drone with surveillance cameras).
7. People may think I'm crazy but this is the only way the dirtbikes/ATVs are going away. The dirtbike/ATV problem is unique in that it allows perpetrators to move quickly across the city, and so evade police and private citizen attempts to locate and confiscate. For the rebellious adolescents/developmentally delayed young adults, it is an ideal means of giving the finger to "the man".
8. only drone surveillance will even the field.
I know I am a one voice in the wilderness on this one. perhaps in time people will see the wisdom of these words.
