Description

The city of raleigh needs to alert residents better of street closures downtown. I have been a member of the newsletter from the raleigh website and purposefully checked "Street Closures" but I have not received any emails. The only place to see these are in text form on the website under specific events, but its unreasonable to expect people to comb through different events looking for street closures that affect them trying to get to work and make a living. This is also unreasonable to expect visitors to know where to look. Why not post these street closures on Waze or Google Maps so people know via directions or on a physical map on the city of raleigh website so people can see street closures across their commute so they wont have trouble getting to work on time. Traffic around the closures is terrible and people are frustrated. Thank you
