Unfortunately the radar sign was destroyed during the accident. Though the light pole has been replaced the radar sign replacement is being researched. If the sign is replaced it could take up to 6 weeks.
If you have questions or concerns feel free to call the Traffic Supervisor at 648-4518
Keep the issue open. This sign and solar panel are a community asset paid for with surplus bond fund money. We need to see this to conclusion. Hopefully, there was an accident report prepared that will allow the city to recoup damage recovery from the auto owner/insurer.

A new radar sign has been ordered. It will be installed upon receipt.
This could take up to 8 weeks. The replacement cost comes from the maintenance budget for signals and lighting.
