I am not trying to rude, but are you able to knock on some of your neighbors doors and ask them to help YOU shovel? Maybe you effort could start something wonderful on that street! Sometimes it only takes one person stepping out ... or if you can't shovel maybe you can offer someone some hot cocoa to shovel her out. That way TWO people can feel your compassion and maybe help you start a caring movement that can spread quicker than bad news! Good luck.
