Posting a new comment because there has been no change in the stop sign / right of way at this intersection and no comments from the City of Walnut Creek. Is this a jurisdiction issue? Should we be contacting someone else?

The right-of-way was likely established in this manner as access is an easement for the private residence at the south side of the canal. Possibly/probably a land rights issue that was established when the canal was built. The homeowner is very cautious when navigating this area as there are many and frequent trail users. This issue will probably remain as it is in the future.

Curious if the city has any comment on this? Is this outside the city's jurisdiction? There are other crossing points on the CCCT where the stop sign is aligned for the vehicle traffic.

Cyclists don't pay attention to the stop signs anyways so what's the problem?

I'm still trying to figure out what " ... traffic is required to stop wow bro traffic serving a single home has the right of way" is supposed to mean. What is "wow bro traffic"?
