Your exactly right, criminals do hide amongst the homeless population. Anyone remember around a year ago police arrested a murder suspect who was camping out behind the abandoned furniture store at redwood and admiral Callahan?

This truly is out of range and out of control. Please do something about this ASAP.

This issue cannot or will not be resolved any time soon the city has no legal right to displace the campers quickly or they would have done so already
This is only a opinion a guess.. I have done no research I have not spoken to any city officials
I bet they will still be there in February and the encampments will grow

Some sympathizers standing up for the homeless criminal activity etc. were wrongly being rude and judgmental to William and he probably doesn't need this in his life.

Anyone interested in forming a Community Action Group and work with the city? Unfortunately with the diverse opinions that have been expressed about this issue, I doubt we could all sit in the same room together for 5 minutes. Too polarizing of an issue to have any productive dialog here on SCF.

Local User hit it on the head. The City & County have insufficient resources for enforcement or assistance to get them off the street. The “bus stop biohazard” is a great example. The guy is a textbook for what is wrong, yet there he is month after month. If you can stand in traffic and throw objects at cars, only be arrested and released..... According to CSS, he’s been evaluated and is not crazy enough to be committed to care. Evidently he sane enough to refuse services over and over again.

Here’s a great link to the report on the homeless from the Solano Grand Jury, it’s very graphic with very little reading ( our president would like it ). All the questions everybody seems to be asking about the why’s and what for’s of homelessness might be answered here if you choose to read it. I’m sure somebody will say there’s no way to know those numbers for sure and it’s fake news- but if you can’t believe a grand jury report what can you believe? Or choose to believe?

Law Abider, the sight has become to personal for me, to much personal opinions. The sight should be for reporting law breakers and illegal acts around the city , not some forum on ones beliefs. Sure, keep reporting the same location, not like there aren’t five or six open issues for it right now on see click fix. Also I do believe one of the other reports stated that the encampments around White Slough and adjacent properties have been cleaned or in the process of being cleaned up. So it looks like Christina from community services is holding to her promise of going out every Tuesday with as many dump trucks as it takes to clean up the encampments. Hopefully CSS will post the cleanup on next-door.com, like the previous cleanup and hopefully people will see that the city is taking some action. Albeit, it is not as fast as we would like, but it is happening.

Kind of like you attaching the same tired old Grand jury report that is bogus as far as complete accuracy. No one is saying fake news like you say they are. Kind of like you keep going after people when they already heard you many times acting like your an expert here. When in fact you seem like an unemployed person with no life. You spew more than listen which makes you repeat more. We just don't believe they interviewed every homeless person including the RV's and vehicles which travel from other towns easily etc.. I watch a movie recently with the premise that a citizen of the United States must produce more than they consume as a law. That would be for everyone, regardless of social status, physical condition or potential. The consequences of not meeting that requirement was death of course. Too bad it’s a movie, huh?
