  Thank you for the inquiry. I stopped to check on the property and there was no active construction occurring at the time of my inspection. From the street, driveway, and porch there was no view of the physical damage to the property and I could not legally enter the structure to check further. I contacted a tenant who provided little description as to the extent of the damage. No permits have yet been pulled. The tenant is passing our information to the property owner with a listing of work which requires a permit.

  It usually takes some time for any information from the fire department to be passed to the City regarding any damage to a structure.

  They are demolishing today. A truck full of wreckage is in front. The fire was Sunday the 9th. 6 fire trucks were there.

  There was no work occurring at the time of my inspection and I require property owner or tenant consent in order to enter the premises. I could only document the items at the top of the pile within the trailer, which consisted of damaged/discarded personal items and furniture. I did not observe drywall or other construction materials which would give me the legal basis to post a Stop Work Notice. The Building Department will have to wait until the owner contacts the City or the Fire Department provides details on the damage to the structure in order to formulate what repair work is necessary.

  They are working this house. Looks like they finished demo and moving on to repair. Hope it is legal.
