7:45am on Friday July 26 and westbound Hillsborough St was blocked by 5 trucks, one of which had a crane on it to unload drywall and materials. The balancing legs of the crane when deployed were extending into the traffic lane and the TTA and Cat buses were barely able to pass this area. Traffic is backing up and this is just an ongoing situation where this construction unloading takes place at the worst time of day, right at 8:00am where over 5000 employees work at NC State and commuters are being affected by some people who think it is best to do all these deliveries at rush hour. The site supervisor is blatantly lying to the City if he said this would not happen again. It did this morning and it was a mess.
