My neighbor and I Re the ones who got the speed limit reduced on Penncross Drive. I believe the process will be the same. The City will mail you a list of all the homes that are on Brookshadow Drive and you have to get 75% of those homes to sign the petition. Worthy cause but requires some leg work. Even with the signs, speeding is still a problem on Penncross.

Speed limit reductions are done through a petition process. If someone from the street is willing to circulate the petition, we will generate one and mail it out to them. The person would then have 60 days to gather signatures from at least 75% of the properties listed on the petition and send it back to me. We would then place an article on a City Council agenda for its approval. Once approved, work requests would go out to our sign crews and the new signs would be installed.
