We appreciate the quick fix, but this looks like a temporary solution. The entire corner is needing replacement at a minimum. The repair has slowed the process but the pothole will come back, larger. The whole neighborhood is long overdue for repaving as it has not be repaved in over 18 years (as long as I have been a resident). Again I appreciate the quick fix, but it will be short lived. Please have the City look into repaving the neighborhood, or the corner repair, at least.

The repaired pothole has since been broken open again on the corner. It is a small neighborhood and a highly traveled road by all that live there. The entire street is in need of repaving.

The pothole us back as I advised 6 months ago. It was only a temporary fix. Please consider repaving the neighborhood.

A crew from our Public Works Department will inspect the location and make any appropriate repairs.

With respect to the suggestion that all of Summerfield Drive be repaved, the road is not currently in line for repaving.

Annually the City rates all streets and roads within our jurisdiction based upon established criteria to develop a rating for each road or street. The streets are then prioritized based upon their condition. We then schedule repaving activity based upon that prioritized list until our milling and resurfacing budget is exhausted.

At this time, other roads within the City are higher on the priority list, based upon their condition.

Our Director of Public Works has just personally inspected the subject location. He has a plan for addressing the structural deficiency at the location of the recurring pothole.

With the threat of cold temperatures now behind us, we will be able to implement that solution in the coming weeks.

The City plans to finalize repairs this week or next, dependant upon weather.

There is a pothole on 11425 haynes bridge entrance and its a thru street. Please help.
Public are complaining at the BP C-Store station. 404-345-8162. It needs urgent fixing.

With respect to the comment regarding a pothole near 11425 Haynes Bridge Road, the subject pothole is not located within a public right-of-way and cannot be repaired or maintained by the City of Alpharetta. It is located within a drive controlled by a private property owner.
