Last weekend I noticed the was plants protruding and areas of debris in the bike lane.

From 14 Feb, the debris still clearly spills into the cyclist lane so it isn't a viable option. I almost got clipped by the vehicle pictured.

A long term concern is that the white poles are not particularly safe for cyclists and the lane is still very narrow leaving vehicles to squeeze past cyclists riding in this lane giving them less than a 1 metre safe passing distance.

This was reported to the council but it appears to be the responsibility of the RMS and has been reported. There is no change however the bollards would make it fairly dangerous and narrow.

While this is not a hoon / racing section of McCarrs, this is where other motorists attempt to overtake when it is dangerous. Essentially means the entire McCarrs Creek Road needs to be addressed to make all road users aware and to make it safer for all.
