Per Parks & Recreation, we do have it turned off so it is not a problem now. This is for a future irrigation system around the carousel and currently only supplies a ball valve with a hose connection for the district crews to water the landscaping. I have talked to the district crew and they are fine with me “de-winterizing” and repairing. We will need to relocate the electrical receptacle to prevent the GFCI from tripping in the future. It currently is located facing straight up without a cover (because heat tape is plugged in) and if the backflow ports it will spray water directly into the receptacle. This may have been the cause of this leak.
