OK, think of it this way: how would you like it if you bought a house next to a two-lane country road with a 40 MPH speed limit, and then, after a decade or so, they raised the speed limit to 55 MPH and suddenly semi trucks went blasting through there regularly at 4 am? You were used to the sound of the traffic before, but the trucks now wake you up. But hey, that's YOUR fault for BUYING A HOUSE NEXT TO A ROAD, right?

So, you didn't know about this before you bought your "expensive residential home"?????
Maybe you should have done some research in advance of your home purchase. And....I have an awfully hard time believing that your baby has trouble breathing every night from the car emissions.
Get a clue.

Road needs to be repaired. Potholes are 8 inches deep and some at 2 - 4 feet long and wide.

I agree! It appears to be a simple matter of timing the lights, to improve the flow of traffic. This intersection is heavily traveled currently due to the construction in downtown Rochester. When Rochester Rd closes for repairs, this intersection will be almost impassable.
