    There is a detour in place due to construction in the bike path between alewife station and Russell field. Not all cyclists are dismounting on Ringe ave which is part of the detour route. This is creating a precarious mix of bikes, pedestrians and heavy traffic all competing for a tiny piece of real estate during the busiest part of the day. The dismount rule needs to be properly enforced here. Thanks

    Dana park. The tree right above the sand box in toddler area has dead branches. One fell right into the sand box and there are other dead branches in danger of falling with a strong enough wind.

    Edward Allen park. The toddler climbing structure has a board out of place and both kids and adults are tripping and falling on it. There are also nails sticking up on the upper platform which need to be hammered in.

    Bar had rusted away in fence in Williams park. Gap is big enough for child to run out onto the road. This fence should be inspected on a routine basis. There may be other parts with similar issues.

    Several bricks have come loose on the pavement on Dudley st adjacent to Williams park. They have become a significant tripping hazard.

    Children's play fountain at Williams park has a blocked drain again. The blockage appears to be down in the drain, and is not due to leaves/mulch gathering on the surface. Pooling water is a mosquito hazard and potentially a drowning hazard for small children.

    Williams park.Some of the bars in the fence have been bent back, leaving enough space for a small child to get through and out onto the street.

    Kemp playground. There are 4 large bolts sticking out of the sand adjacent to the artificial hill. They may have been part of some feature that was removed or broke. Either way they are an accident waiting to happen if a kid slides down on top of them. Thanks

    This part of Sommerville Ave between mass ace and beacon st is very dangerous for cyclists. Specifically, cyclists turning right from som ave to beacon have no bike lane for turning. Using the vehicle lane to turn right often results in near misses as cars try and squeeze ahead of bikes. Please be on the look out for cars who do this. Somebody may be hurt soon if it continues.
