A sinkhole formed at rain drain
at the corner of Bates road. Couple of years ago City worked on this drain. Looks like grading was not done properly to cause this sinkhole formation Please address this before it becomes worse..

Recently Alpharetta City worked on a drainage issue on Bates Road. CastleRock is the contractor who did the work. They didn't finish the job completely and professionally. They messed up my sprinkler heads and missed tthe so and didn't level the sod/landscape , so the rain water is not draining properly. I would request city officials to inspect the work and finish it properly so that it wouldn't cause anotherdrainage issue
    Thanks . ,

City started painting edge lines without paving Bates road. It is due for pavement, as there are three Subdivisions (108 homes) were built here. And with heavy trucks been used there are potholes and other damages on Bates road. City should consider pave Bates road , as builder closed out.

Speed limit on Providence road is 35mph. Most of the vehicles go way above the limit. From my prior notice to city police, they did a speed survey and found that the average speed was above speed limit, but no action taken. Please take necessary action to reduce commuter speed on Providence road. Thank you.

    Missing speed limit Sign.
Due to recent developments on Bates Road, exiting speed limit post has been removed. City should to add new Sign. Since there are new residential homes on Bates Road, we request city to add speed bumps to limit speeding cars/trucks on Bates Rd.

The pedestrian lights that were installed by builder recently are not working or turned on. We the Bates Road residents reached out to city officials many times before to install them earlier and now builder installed them and didn’t turn on.
We also informed builder appointed HOA weeks ago, but there is corrective action taken.
Please take necessary action to fix the lights and make sure the builder follows the city code before they close and move on.

The builder (Sharp Residential) who is building new homes on Bates Rd didn't add side walk lights.
We the home owners reported multiple times to have side walk lights installed as it gets dark early winter and is not safe for kids and elders to walk in dark and home owners on Bates road should walk couple of blocks to get to common mailboxes. we reported early fall last year, but no action taken from the builder.

Since HOA still managed by the builder they are not helping either in this regard.

We are reaching out to you the city to take necessary steps to notify the builder as it is violation of city code to not have side walk lights installed before selling the houses.
I am adding the Citi muni codes for your reference.

    Hi
Speeding trucks/cars on Bates Rd and Providence Rd
We moved to Bates road couple of months ago. There are 3 other new homes who moved and who has kids playing, waking (side walk). We noticed the speed limit is 35. Considering this is a new subdivision
we request to reduce the speed limit to 15 and add bumps to road to avoid speeding motorists. Thank you for your support.
