The Crabapple Lake Neighborhood needs traffic calming measures along Crabapple Lake Drive because cars entering from Crabapple Road do not slow down.

We request the installation of a Driver Feedback Radar Sign on Crabapple Lake Drive between Crabapple Lake Circle and Crabapple Lake Circle.

Additionally we request the installation of several In-Street Pedestrian Warning Assemblies along Crabapple Lake Drive, particularly prior to wherever the street curves.

Oncoming vehicles fail to slow down which endangers pedestrians, especially small children crossing the road to the side of the street with the sidewalk. Our children use the sidewalk to walk to our community playground and to walk to school.

With a sidewalk on only one side of the street, our children must cross Crabapple Lake Drive to access the sidewalk. They cannot do this safely under the present conditions.

Please contact us to review the process and to let us know what is needed to make this happen.

    1. As you exit the Crabapple Parc community on Crabapple Parc Drive @ Crabapple Road, the traffic signal light is out on the right hanging light.

    2. The pedestrian crossing signal button isn’t working on the east side of Crabapple Road at Etris Road (the school crosswalk at the entrance to the Crabapple Parc community). It appears to be working if you are crossing from Sweet Apple ES, but not to.

The school crosswalk for Sweet Apple ES on Crabapple Road @ Crabapple Parc Drive is in bad shape and desperately needs to be repainted.

Please schedule a restriping of the crosswalk as soon as possible.

    Thank you.

The timing of the signal at Crabapple Parc Drive and Crabapple Road heavily favors traffic on Crabapple Road. Traffic trying to exit Crabapple Parc is left waiting far too long for the light to change. This has become a big issue for many of us and we would very much appreciate it if you could please take a look at the signal.

Please troubleshoot both the time setting for how long it takes for the light to change after the sensor is tripped and the sensor itself. Many of us do not believe the sensor has worked properly since the roadway was repaved.

Thank you for your help throughout the years. It is very much appreciated.
