Apartment complex has a set of yard waste bins that are overflowing with garbage (not yard waste). Bins are next to the sidewalk and result in garbage up and down S Blount St. There has been an uptick in vermin in and around these bins as well.

It may make sense to just remove these bins from this property.

Blind pedestrian lives on this block. This pedestrian must cross Blount street where there are neither Blind Pedestrian signs nor crosswalks nor stoplights. Would like to request installation of a Blind Pedestrian sign near the corner of S Blount St and Bledsoe Ave.

A dozen cardboard boxes fell off a passing truck and are now blocking the busy road.

There are fences and other metal objects that may belong to Shaw University that are falling onto the sidewalk. This obstructs people trying to walk down the sidewalk and seems to trap a lot of debris/leaves/garbage. I myself have tripped on these fallen fences and have seen many others fall as well, including elderly neighbors.

There are a ton of fallen leaves that make the sidewalk extremely slippery when wet or dry. They also hide the sidewalk and make it more likely for someone to fall or trip on hidden obstructions or fall off the sidewalk. It also looks like the sediment control bags that are at the fence are failing, causing the small hill to wash away into the sidewalk and street.

There are quite a few low spots where water collects. Some are smaller but some can get quite deep (2-4"). All low spots retain water for days and days after any amount of rain.

It appears that construction is being done at a house near 909 S Person Street and the construction workers are consistently parking in the bike lane. There is ample parking in the area immediately surrounding the construction work. Please ask parking enforcement staff to regularly visit this location to issue tickets to prevent parking in the bike lane. Many people use this bike lane everyday and having the lane blocked puts cyclists in danger of being hit by passing cars that are traveling very quickly.
