Request for traffic calming measures on Alewife Station Access Rd.

Cars routinely drive down this connecting road at high speeds. There's a difficult to see crosswalk right before the overpass, and cars don't slow down when approaching it. This creates a dangerous situation for pedestrians and bicyclists crossing the road. While there is a pedestrian activated warning signal at the crossing, almost no one uses it. Two or three speed bumps on the stretch of road adjecent to the Alewife parking garage would be a welcome safety measure.

Not a complaint exactly, but a question. There are 2 parking spots on Middlesex marked as a loading zone. I believe the signs predate the day care facility that's adjacent to the signs. There's a new fence blocking the back of the day care, so these spots could not be used for loading. Can the no parking / tow zone signs be removed?

Traffic light is out. Even though there's a stop sign, I just saw a vehicle drive right through the intersection without slowing down.

The contractor at 54-56 Norris St has been reserving approximately 4 parking spaces for months. The permit (#181936) is for "1 Tool Truck" defined by Cambridge as 20'. The contractors have a sign on a traffic cone which they set well beyond 20'. A new sign was recently attached to a fixed post that reads "Tool Trucks" and has arrows pointing in 2 directions. The permit number is the same as the original one, so I suspect this one was altered by the contractor. Can you tell the contractor not to tie up more of the public parking spaces than the permit allows him? Parking is tight on Norris and this contractor has been claiming a lot of space on the street for a long time. He's not even using the space much of the time. No one can park in the area without the threat of being towed
