Notified About

  • 809 Edmund Street Raleigh, North Carolina - East Raleigh
New construction has recently turned this two-way intersection into a four-way intersection. No stop signs have been put up on any of the four corners. Construction vehicles (cement trucks, dump trucks, tractors, etc) drive through the new intersection without regards to any oncoming traffic. I live near this intersection and have almost been hit multiple times while trying to leave my neighborhood. This is a serious safety issue. There needs to be stop signs at this intersection asap, preferably a four-way stop!

Neighbors have expressed interest in having some place to sit while their kids play here. I know benches are expensive, but would the city perhaps be able to spare a few 2' or 3' tall boulders until benches could be budgeted and bought?

    Thanks!

  • 725 Glascock St. Raleigh, NC - East Raleigh

Services at the Glorious Church frequently exceed the city's noise limits. Services frequently go on until almost 11 PM at night and can be heard from hundreds of feet away from church property.

Police and city inspectors have documented high noise levels at this property in the past but the issue continues.

Please help the church become a better neighbor by keeping its noise under legal levels. Thank you.

Someone is lighting leaf piles on fire in and around the Frank Street area. Last night someone lit my neighbor's yardwaste on fire around 11:30pm. The fire department said this was the 10th report of this happening in the past week or so in the 3 block area from Watauga to Norris St. Most all of the instances have occurred between 10pm and Midnight. We were hoping that leaf collection would stop the fire starter, the stuff that was burned last night were other yard debris. Hoping we can have some help from RPD in patrolling the area after 10pm to try to catch whomever is responsible for this.

There are too many people living in this house for it to be considered a rental property, it should be a rooming house. There are vehicles parked in the yard, and on the street. There is a boat parked in the front yard and a moving van parked in the side yard. Since this house became a "rental", it's been loud and trashy. Please do something about it, we would like our neighborhood back!

This bridge was built about a year ago, if not more recently.

Portions of the wooden railings have been forcibly removed. And some of those have been left on the ground or in the creek; with nails in them still.

it is 2:44 am. Im now being woken up AGAIN for the umteenth time in recent weeks to a waste industries trash truck servicing brookside market and deli. the dumpster is located off 600 glascock st.
this truck continues to service this business at times ranging between 2 and 5 am weeknights. it is a major annoyance, especially in the middle of the night.

I thought the city of raleigh has an ordinance banning this sort of activity in a residential neighborhood at these times. maybe im mistaken? either way the truck and dumping of the dumpster violate the noise ordinaces for these times involved.

waste industries had no comment and avoided response. yet they continue to operate this way.

The restrooms here are FILTHY. We have rented this space today and can use the restrooms. No toilet paper and filthy toilets.
  • 905-999 Glascock Street Raleigh, NC - East Raleigh
On the north side of Glasscock Street there is a row of evergreens along the edge of the sidewalk. The branches are growing completely over the sidewalk.
Also, along the same stretch of Glascock but on the south side of the street the sidewalk is covered in dirt. The dirt washes over the sidewalk when it rains. For days after the rain on sunny days people are forced to walk through the muddy puddle.
  • Glascock And Brookside Raleigh, NC - Mordecai
The bus stop on the north side of Glascock and Brookside Drive needs to be updated. The current bus waiting area is a dirt spot on a very narrow shoulder and there are no sidewalks to access it. It seems quite dangerous.
  • Brookside And Vale Raleigh, NC - East Raleigh
Not only has the metal water cover (about a 6-7 inch diameter) been missing for months if not years but the metal receptale part that is inlaid into the pavement is partially destroyed. Might take some welding? and a replacement cover.
  • 1400-1418 Clifton Street Raleigh, NC 27604, USA - Mordecai
Water pools on the corner of Clifton and Drew due to improper slope of the streets. It creates a collection of water that can get about 4 to 5 inches deep and can extend about 20 feet or more around the corner. This results in a mosquito breeding problem and gives off an unpleasant odor if it sticks around long enough.
