Notified About

  • 1219 Kerry Greens Dr Stallings, NC 28104, USA - Stallings
There are numerous potholes in the Kerry Green Subdivision. The answer so far had been to put GRAVEL in them instead of patching them! If I wanted to live on a gravel road, I would have bought a house in the countryside! The entire subdivision has poor patch jobs on the roads that have been there since the neighborhood was built. The state agreed to take over maintenance, but is doing nothing to keep them up. The place desperately needs repaving!
  • 301-15031 Catawba Circle South Stallings, North Carolina - Stallings
This is a sharp curve in this neighborhood. I have seen people run off the road, I have seen fingers flying, people cussing and people chasing others down the road because they got run off the road. The undergrowth is terrible. It has been getting out of hand for years. I have attached a picture from google earth. It is from this past summer. The road is worse now.
  • Intersection Of Pleasant Plains Rd Potter Rd, Stallings, NC 28104, USA - Stallings
There are know turning lanes on Potter Rd. at the stop light, where it crosses Pleasant Plains Rd. As with most traffic in the mornings it's backed up going towards town and reverse in the afternoons. What makes it worse is in the mornings about everyother car is turning left which causes major backups on Potter Rd. It is only going to get worse as more and more homes are being built out this way. Help, Please built the turning lanes ASAP!!! Seems like the richer sections of towns always get their stuff done, even when it is not as bad as other areas. (We all know why).
  • 3901-3929 State Road 1364 Stallings, NC 28104, USA - Stallings
Very close to the intersection of Potters Rd and Pleasant Plains Rd is a very old, very large rotten oak tree. It is completely rotten through the center and half of the tree has already fallen. What is left hangs over the road and could, at some point, fall onto a car or cars waiting for the light to change. This is a very dangerous condition to drivers. Tree is on the side on Pleasant Plains, just east of Potters Rd.

  • 4734-4768 Potter Rd Stallings, NC 28104, USA - Stallings
I have reported to DOT, the Town of Stallings and Mayor Paxton that I believe this large oak tree at the corner of Potter and Plesant Plains Rd. is a deadly accident waiting to happen. The rotting tree hangs over the road at a stop light. I fear that one day it is going to fall and kill someone. No one will take responsibility. I live in a nearby neighborhood. Last week at the homeowners annual meeting I asked our guest speaker, Mayor Paxton, if she knew how this could be resolved. There were some head nods at the meeting. So others knew which tree I was speaking of. She didn't have a very positive answer other than she was aware of the problem and would look into it "again". She did mention that it could be the homeowner's responsibility. However, I wonder if this is accurate. The tree is located on the road side of the sidewalk and not on the homeowners side of the sidewalk. Please help. Thanks!
