On Friday, April 26, the utility dept. fixed at water leak at this address. At that time there was a camper parked on the street that prevented the completion of the job. The camper has been moved so the hole can be filled, and the box the protects the water meter can now be replaced. Contact me with questions. Paul Bedo phone 919-801-6697. Thank you

I just witnessed a tractor trailer trying to turn right onto Page Rd almost lose his load of construction materials due to an extremely low shoulder. Tractor trailers do not have enough room to keep their rear axle tires on the road while turning right when there is on coming traffic on Page Rd.

Short term fix would be to shore up the shoulder, but in the long run, this intersection needs to be re-engineered to accomodate the larger trucks that move through this intersection due to the FedEx Hub and other businesses that have grown up around this area in the last few years.
