Description
I have noticed that wrong way drivers is a common occurrence on this section of Chapel St. between Derby and Sherman Ave. Luckily there hasnt been an accident yet. It is so bad that I look both ways before I cross the street. And now that the weather is becoming warmer not only are cars going the wrong way but you have to watch out for ATV's and dirt bikes. I park my car here and am very concerned that its going to get hit one day because of a wrong way driver. Possibly more signs need to be put up stating its one way.

There are signs present. The problem is the design of the street. Having the designated left turn lane on westbound Chapel (which is rarely used since most through traffic uses Derby) is confusing to eastbound drivers. It really does look like you should be able to continue to Sherman. There is really no reason why they couldn't redesign the streets and make Chapel 2 way to Sherman.
I'm not a fan of adding more signs but some creative street painting or a full redesign could easily fix this.

HI all:
This has been a long standing debate in the ward for a long time. I can surely order a re-assessment for the streets in question.
you all can help by getting me the street names so that i can accurately write up the order for the re-assessment and change order. please be mindful of the unintended consequences that any come up after the street is changed over.
thanks and get back to me.
