Notified About

  • 280-288 Ogden Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights
This is getting absolutely ridiculous. Everyday there are children here playing with toys that were donated from other parents. Children playing in the park, this has to stop. Can we please get more signs made up that read NO Toys allowed... Im sure the Kids appreciate it, Thank you Rec Department and Lucinda for doing a great job in Advance.
  • Congress St & Palisade Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights
Something like 30-50 / hr buses try to squeeze through the block of Congress between Paterson Plank and Palisade—plus hundreds of vehicles and pedestrians. The onstreet parking of 20 cars should be banned during the morning rush. It makes difficult for buses to turn and reduces visibility of pedestrians at crosswalks. This would be a minor inconvenience for 20 people easing travel for thousands.
  • Congress St & New York Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights
On all four corners of Congress and New York Avenue, the flexible delineators on the corners are wrecked. Some from trucks and people going to the liquor store, others from construction digging. Can you please replace them?
  • Riverview-Fisk Park Jersey City, NJ 07307, USA - The Heights
East walkway has broken concrete and fractured retaining wall. Wall may fall onto Paterson Plank road below the park. Walkers and joggers may trip and fall on the sidewalk. This is located behind the basketball court inside the park.

  • Griffith St & Ogden Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights
The grass seedlings have been put in quite a while ago. They are not taking to the ground. No one has noticed this or kept it up. They need to refertilize and then it over and try again. This was done poorly. The situation or seedlings was severely underdone in some places and overdone in others. Please address.

Hi. This sign has been up for over a year. Being that this is a community garden, we should have access to it. This is not a private garden. The elderly are vaccinated (most of whom take care of this garden), why can’t we have access to it this year? Can we request they open it up? It is not fair to hoard this garden for themselves. Please address.

This garden is in front of Riverview park.

  • 595 Palisade Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights
The tree nearest the corner of New York/Congress is nearly completely blocking the sidewalk now.. os there anyway to remove this or clean it up?
  • Congress St & Palisade Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights
There's an enormous depression in the middle of the intersection with some kind of metal pipe sticking up in the middle of the southbound Palisade lane. It must be damaging cars and it endangers other cars and pedestrians as drivers must swerve to avoid it. I no longer drive that way. It's hard to miss (pun intended).

The bikes that are located at this location are not used as much now as in the past. These bikes were relocated after the residents signed a petition a few years back. The bikes were on Ogden Avenue consuming precious parking spots. The request to relocate them at that time was granted... however they were relocated appproximatley 20 feet from that original location! A call was made to the mayors office questioning that relocation of 20 feet and the response was do another petition. That is clearly not the answer. The location of them currently in on Congress Street at the corner of Ogden Avenue. This is dangerous for both us bike travelers as well as a major traffic thoroughfare of buses trucks and cars! These bikes must be relocated before there is a serious incident. The area originally requested was a half block west on Congress Street directly on the side of the Fire house
