Description

This white truck never leaves this spot Parking in this spot makes it extremely difficult to see oncoming traffic from N 4th Ave on Oakview Rd There needs to be a no parking sign before the crosswalk so pedestrians can be seen at the crosswalk and cars can see oncoming traffic on Oakview Rd Cars cannot see pedestrians at the start of the crosswalk and thus do not stop It is extremely dangerous

This is unsafe for pedestrians and also impedes the view for those exiting onto Oakview from N 4th.

The vehicle is being driven most of the week and moves frequently as residents come and go. A better use of resources might be to address the speeding that occurs between the stop sign and your street making it unsafe. The crosswalk itself is rather unsafe which is why FAVE does not allow students to cross there but the parents and kids do anyway.

I agree people speed down the street and should be addressed. Ig is not about that particular car but any car parked that close to the crosswalk which prevents people from seeing each other

Agreed. Anyone parking in that spot blocks the sight line from Oakview Rd. There should be a no parking sign around the pedestrian crossing sign. That way people can cross the road safely and drivers can safely see down the street.

Following up on this. There was a car speeding down the street today and almost hit a kid in the crosswalk. Car couldn’t see the child at the start of the crosswalk and child couldn’t see the oncoming car. Very scary.
