Description
Truck weight limits were posted on Parkridge Ave. from Main St. Corona to Lincoln Ave except for local deliveries which would cover the Gateway industrial area on Parkridge Ave.
Truck limits were posted on Lincoln Ave. coming from the 91 Fwy. to Parkridge limiting load.
All of these signs have been torn down, not re-posted, and there is no enforcement. I have no intention of living on a truck route.

Thank you for posting your issue on SeeClickFix. This issues involves both the City of Corona and the City of Norco. Corona's Public Works Traffic Engineering staff will review the Truck Route signage within the Corona city limits and replace any sign that needs to be. We will also contact the City of Norco's Public Works Department to do the same. If you would like to speak with someone in Corona's Traffic Engineering, please call (951) 736-2266.

Thank you. it is easy for one trucker to tear down a sign and use ignorance as a defense with a patrol officer or any other trucker behind him; although I see many truckers and few officers.
Vigilance on the part of both cities is imperative when those signs need to be replaced coming from either Lincoln or Main. In addition, the patrol officers need to step it up once the signs are in place.
One other step would be for a simple flyer to be printed and distributed, I'll do it myself, to the Gateway and Hidden Valley Pkwy. business owners. These groups operate in our community and need to respect our rights where it pertains to a peaceful existence.

There should be a sign in City of Corona proper as you approach Parkridge from the 91 Fwy. This sign was located at River Rd. and Lincoln and this sign is in place. Thus, this is an enforcement issue with the City of Corona. I am in agreement that the sign posted at Cota and Parkridge is the responsibility of Norco and I will pursue this with them.
The companies being served by these truckers, whether on Parkridge or all the way to Hidden Valley, also need to step up. I will do my part in Gateway but the message and enforcement need to exist for this initiative to have any teeth.
