Description
People must think Buell Street is a racetrack. They speed up and down this narrow street without any regard for the many children in the neighborhood. The stretch between Garfield and Forest Hill is especially dangerous because of the rise in the road, eliminating a driver's ability to see pedestrians or parked cars. This area needs traffic calming, speed tables and aggressive police enforcement. Aside from the cut-thru traffic, the Fed Ex trucks, UPS trucks and landscapers are offenders as well as the local school buses. This area needs work before someone is seriously injured or killed.
