Description
If we all know shoes hanging from electric lines means illegal activity or drug sales.
Why can't we get this property cleaned up.
There is trash and clearly something going on .
Whether it's drugs or stolen bikes .can we get this property taken care of?

Below is the City team member I have been in contact with - Jonathan Garcia. He's nice enough, but here we are 2 years of back and forth and the property is still a hazard. Mr. Garcia has said he can meet with community members in October, and will alert here or via email. BTW, he's new on the job. He's not the one who dropped the ball on this lot for the past two years.
My wish is that they would take this seriously before something tragic happens. The latest from the city is that the owner was in violation of code (ya think?) and has been given a citation. The owner will get a hearing with a judge - they won't reveal when. The judge may or may not grant the owner more time to clean the lot before imposing fines or criminal penalties. Sound familiar?
If I can safely get photos, I'll try to compile some to support their case. The challenge is how to bring attention to the activity that goes on there all day and night. It's impossible to get close enough to document, and nobody at APD seems to believe the reports without something specific.
Whew - sorry for the long rant-y post.

Here is a link to one of the multiple cases filed regarding this property over the past four years. The city has not shown up for some trials, so the case gets dismissed.

You may be able to post here, too. Haven’t looked over there today. Hope the sidewalk is clear for tomorrow’s market.
