I posted this to give neighbors on seeclickfix a chance to leave comments on this incident in case they heard/saw/know something that could help with the investigation. Is it possible to leave this issue open for about a week to allow comments? Thank you for the quick responses to these incidents by the RPD and RFD. Hopefully whomever is reponsible for these fires is apprehended soon.

I would really advocate for RPD and media at this point to get the word out to the neighborhood with some sort of potential profile of the suspect. Something about it speaks of a local person, maybe a teenager, who might be identified by a parent or neighbor with a lead, if the word gets around. If the suspect lives with anyone, they should perhaps recognize the pattern of times the person leaves the house or is walking. By the way, I did leave a description of a suspicious person on a previous post. Let's get neighbors to start thinking about if they have seen a face repeatedly walking that they don't know (or do). Not everyone monitors this. It should be a door-to-door action by police or a few news reports on it. Thanks.

The RPD Community Squad has already delivered approximately 150 information pamphlets in the area of Frank Street the last time this was occurring in early December 2012. They will proceed forward tomorrow afternoon and survey this area again and expand the canvassing area into the Harding Street neighborhood and surrounding side streets. In addition, Officer Taylor will contact the Five Points, Oakwood, and Mordecai Community Groups and advise them about these incidents. Any pertinent or relevant information that is learned needs to be shared.

Capt. Craghead is coordinating with the Fire Department and will be taking more proactive action in the near future. David, I will leave this string open for a while. Please feel free to close it if you feel it has done it's job.
