This has been reported everyday this week without resolution.

I agree Mary, the city of Cambridge has yet to take action on this issue even though its been reported multiple days in a row. The city shouldn't approve new construction projects unless they want to see through the whole project is completed in a safe manner and does not require drivers to drive on the wrong side of the road during rush hour to get to and from work.

I called the non-emergency police line last week to report this. Some mornings it functions as usual, others the green arrow appears every third light cycle. Traffic is piling up back along Mass Ave., and this morning it even created a backup all the way back on Beech St out onto Elm. Please resolve this problem!

Hi, they have not replied to every report of this issue but I did see one encouraging response this week: the traffic department indicated that they did not know why this began to happen, which might mean it's a controller glitch instead of a deliberate change, and that their signal contractor is scheduled to look into it. This system's map feature seems to have been disabled which makes it more difficult to find recent issues.
