Difficult for duck hunters and others trying to launch @ that site: the only public access boat launch in Vallejo. The squatter sailboat party( man, women and child who might be school age) present a water hazard along w/ the skiff they keep tied up @ the dock. Solano Sheriff Marine Patrol (707) 784- 1382 will sometimes respond but prefer being called by the Marina/Harbor Master. Vallejo officials state publicly that they value Vallejo’s waterfront but apparently not as demonstrated by their non action. How about just enforcing regs that are already on the books while pondering a future plan?

Yes to enforcement. But I think we will be told some sort of “proposal” is to come before the city council meeting in November as to what the new rules that can be enforced might be.

These folks will leave promptly if given a citation. Someone is just not doing their job of asking them to leave at night. We should figure out who it is and ask that they be fired.

There’s no signs of littering or complaints of them bothering anyone, yet you still want them removed? When they’re parked in front of your residence I suppose you will be satisfied 🤷🏽‍♀️

CSS has one part-time and three full-time employees who are responsible for addressing all quality of life concerns, supporting Neighborhood Watch groups, and working with the Neighborhood Law Program and Code Enforcement to address distressed and dangerous properties. Dee of course they should move every night. That's the law, and the law also permits them to come back the next morning. Some of them are already starting fires and driving on the boardwalk.

If overnight parking rule is not enforced, it'll only be a matter of time before the entire lot is filled with campers every night. We've seen this cycle over the past year, the number of campers breaking the rules grows whenever the rules aren't enforced
