I live in the Baldwin court area beetween 2nd and 3rd streets. Because there are several complexes in the area there are about 3 different garbage days. For the past few months the garbage companies have consistently operated way before 7:00AM, sometimes as early as 5:30 creating an obnoxious amount of excess noise before even sunrise. Several of my neighbors And I are concerned and irate with the disturbance that early.

Thank you for the inquiry. Trash collection services is allowed to start prior to 7 AM in commercial and residential areas. Apartments are also treated as commercial for pickup services.
Your inquiry has been routed to Republic to discuss with their route supervisor. Between the commercial properties on Main Street and the surrounding areas, there may be multiple days of pickup through the week.
