  • Broadwell Rd & Rucker Rd Alpharetta, GA, 30004, USA - Alpharetta
Large amount of gravel & sand in intersection. I also reported this issue about one month ago -- if there is construction nearby that is causing this debris, they need to be notified.

Crabapple Chase Dr & Crabapple Tree Ct Alpharetta, GA, 30004, USA - Alpharetta
After paving of Crabapple Chase and Crabapple Tree, stop lines were painted for only two of the three stop signs at the intersection of the two streets. The stop line on Crabapple Chase in the northeasterly direction (i.e. at the stop where Crabapple Tree is on the left) is missing.

A number of stop and yield signs have recently had vertical reflective strips added. On a number of them, the bolts are excessively long, creating a dangerous snag hazard. This one is right next to a sidewalk and where children get on/off the school bus. THIS IS AT EYE HEIGHT FOR MANY CHILDREN and can easily injure adults as well. This one is at the intersection of Arborhill Ln and Henderson Pkway, but there are two others I know of at the intersections of Henderson Place and Henderson Pkwy.

The HAWK signaling scheme is out of whack at this location. After the signal goes through the flashing yellow > solid yellow > solid red > flashing red, it should go off. However, after the flashing red, it goes solid red again, then flashing red again, then finally off. As a result (and the fact that there are no instructions telling folks they can proceed during the flashing red if the crosswalk is clear), drivers will not proceed even when it is permissible. This is happening after a single button push and the pedestrians are clear of the crosswalk -- no subsequent button pushes are involved.

There's a spilled and run-over bag of concrete in the eastern corner of the intersection. This needs to be removed before it gets rained on and becomes a hardened lump/scab.

Many intersections have day/time restrictions to improve flow or prevent dangerous situations, and I suggest one be implemented here. Nearly every afternoon when I am on Crabapple and pass the Lecoma Trace intersection, two or three drivers on Lecoma cross Crabapple straight across to the other side of Lecoma in order to bypass the traffic at the Crabapple/Mayfield/Broadwell light (this occurs in both directions). This forces traffic to come to a standstill in one or both directions on Crabapple in order to let the driver across, making congestion worse at what's already one of the most-congested intersections in the area. Please consider implementing a day/time restriction on "straight across" transit of this intersection to prevent/reduce this activity AND enforce it. Thanks in advance for your consideration!

This really isn't a "Park Issue," but I didn't see a more appropriate category.

When in the foyer of City Hall and facing the two sets of doors entering the Council Chambers, the pair of doors on the right are interfering with each other at the top. Unless you close the doors together at the same time, they interfere with each other and are causing rubbing. and wear. The frames and/or hinges need adjustment or repair.

The pesticide signs at the park are too small and in areas that are not easy to see. I saw a lady and her dog sitting on the grass, then a lady and her daughter playing on the grass. You can see the lady and the daughter in the picture I attached.

Mounds of concrete at intersection. The turn lane for McGinniss Ferry southeast to Brookwood northeast has concrete spilled to the left of the lane.
  • 4 Westside Parkway Alpharetta, Georgia - Alpharetta
The stop light at the intersection is set to perform for the previous intersection condition, where all four directions had traffic flow, and has not been adjusted to take account of the construction blocking Encore Parkway from Westside Parkway across to North Point Center. This causes unnecessary red lights for traffic on Westside Parkway; I know my experience is anecdotal, but in at least the last dozen times I have been stopped by a red while on Westside Parkway at this intersection, there have been no vehicles waiting on Encore Parkway. Thus, if there is a sensor for vehicles waiting to turn left from Encore Parkway South to Westside Parkway North, I believe that should be the only trigger for the light to turn red for Westside Parkway.
  • 1 Cumming Street Alpharetta, Georgia - Alpharetta
After the recent paving, the traffic control markings (lanes, center divider, etc.) were re-striped, but the crosswalks at this intersection (going across Cumming St and across Hwy 9) were not re-striped or marked in any way.

One of the sidewalk/ramp mats on the pedestrian island on the NE corner of this intersection is dislodged. It's the mat on the south edge of the island.

There are two sinks in the men's room on the southeast corner of City Hall (lowest level, direct outside access). The right one's automatic faucet that has the sensitivity set too high. Once started, the water will oscillate on and off, apparently seeing the spraying water as movement. To get the water to quit, I had to shield the water from the sensor's view. Doing so, I bumped the faucet and noticed it's fairly loose. So, two issues: overly-sensitive control and loose faucet.
  • 3800 North Point Parkway Alpharetta, Georgia - Alpharetta
The crosswalk button for crossing from the southwest corner of the intersection to the southeast corner of the intersection is missing, thus it is non-functional. No walk signal occurs without this functional.
