Description
The mosquitos have infested the Windsor Center River Trail due to flooding. Due to this all grass and/or water are infested as well including the pond at the Windsor Station apartments. The Windsor Art Center is also affected by this mosquito Infestation. It is impossible to even take my dog out to use the bathroom. I have not seen any mosquito spraying this season. How can mosquito borne illnesses be prevented if our entire town is infested?

Any spraying and mowing or brush trimming the town does will be greatly appreciated. I did see a mowing team down by the Windsor Station apartment's pond but the grass parkways by the sidewalks and Windsor Center Trail parking lot are still overgrown. Thank you again for your timely response.

Please let me know what the intended action wiil be. I concerned about West Nile as well as just being covered in bites. My poor dog is also covered in bites.

The affected areas have been treated for mosquitos within the last two days…There will be an additional application within the next 3 days.

I appreciate the action taken but I have been out in the area three times since your response and there is no change in the swarming and infestation of mosquitos. Additionally no mowing has been done on the public parkways by the art center and public parking lots. The mosquitos are nesting in the high grass and weeds. I am glad to hear that another application will be occurring soon because the first one did nothing to mitigate the issue with mosquitos. Your continued efforts are greatly appreciated. Thank You
